The COHREP Announces NEW Officers and Board of Directors

Okada Manila, January 30, 2025

 The Council of Hotel and Restaurant Educators of the Philippines (COHREP) proudly announces the election of its new officers and board of directors for 2025-2026, marking a new chapter in leadership and strategic direction. The newly elected officers were officially inducted during THE 33rd COHREP Annua National Convention held on January 30-31, 2025.


 Leading the organization for the upcoming term is Mr Rudie E. Cabardo, who will serve as President. With a strong background in quality education, Mr Cabardo was Ethics Committee Chair and Board of Director in Charge of the Secretariat prior to election. He aims to drive the COHREP to reach greater heights as the leading professional organization in Hospitality and Tourism Education. Joining him are:

Submission Guidelines

All submissions (abstracts and full papers) must be from an original work, be this a research project or a thesis/dissertation. Papers should not have been presented in any Conference or submitted for publication prior to the 2025 COHREP National Convention. Submissions must be in English, Microsoft Word format (2007 or later format) and free of grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors.

AbstractSubmit an expanded abstract – three pages, single-spaced, Times New Roman 11. Abstracts must have the following sections: title, introduction, method, findings, implications and/or conclusion, and a list of references (reference list not included in the three-page limit for abstract).

COHREP NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING 2023


       On behalf of the Board of Directors, we would like to invite you to the 2nd General Membership Meeting for 2023 with the theme: “Technology, Research, Innovation and Patents (TRIP): Re- calibrating Standards for Tourism and Hospitality Education,” which will be held on September 8, 2023, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Dr. Robert C. Sy Grand Ballroom of the Blessed Buenaventura G. Paredes, OP (BGPOP) Building, University of Santo Tomas.


The purpose of the GMM is to bring together existing and new members in a forum which would highlight and address new developments, growing trends, and best practices relating to technology, research, innovations, and patents that are impacting both the academe and industry. Thus, we have invited select experts in their respective fields to share their knowledge and best practices in those areas.


         For an engaging assembly, your attendance and participation is of utmost importance to us, so we are providing complete provisions for snacks, buffet lunch, and certificates – all covered by the registration fee – as follows:
